This is the full color printed pattern from Moda made to accompany Blockheads 6 sew along and My Favorite Color is Moda 2. Moda will release the blocks each week in a varied order, not necessarily in the numerical order that the pattern shows.
You don’t have to purchase this printed pattern to sew along, as the patterns are offered for free, one each week to download and print out at home, however; many quilters want more:
They want to see the full quilt in advance
They want printed instructions in color
They want fabric requirements ahead of time so they can plan and shop

What Is Blockheads?
Blockheads is a block-of-the-week program from Moda Fabrics, created with our amazing community and designer friends in mind. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure quilting experience. Every Wednesday, we release a free block pattern designed by one of our Moda designers—along with helpful cutting instructions, weekly video tutorials, and plenty of inspiration to make the block your own.
It’s not a traditional mystery quilt where we all end up with the same final layout. Instead, it’s a flexible, skill-building series where YOU decide how to put your blocks together. Turn them into one quilt, a set of smaller projects, or something totally unique. No rules here—just creativity!

Blockheads 6 features 24 incredible Moda designers, and each one will take a turn in the spotlight! Each week, our featured designer will share their block along with personal tips, tricks, and ideas for how they’re using it. Keep an eye on our blog and social channels to catch each designer’s post and be inspired by their process.

When will the block patterns be released?
New blocks will be released each Wednesday by 8:00 AM Central.

Will there be videos this year for each block?
Yes! We will provide a link to the videos as they become available, BUT -Be sure to subscribe to the Moda Fabrics YouTube channel so you don’t miss any of the videos. Moda will have a new video for each block every week that will walk you through the block construction. They will share their sewing tips and tricks, as well as our favorite notions for making our Blockheads blocks.
