Ten days of October, and here is our tenth block , Helen. How is the Stitch Pink sampler going for you? Are you using other fabrics : we’d love to see what you are doing with these patterns. Please share your work and tag it #modastitchpink
If you are using the Stitch Pink Grunge fabrics pictured here, you can shop HERE in our online store for these fabrics. We have a kit to make this quilt as pictured (while quantities last). These sampler blocks would also make a great scrappy quilt if you’d like to use your stash.
TODAY’S TIP
Taking the time to check your flying units to see if they are the size the patterns says the should be is SO worth doing. For these, I didn’t need to trim, but I can be careless (lazy) sometimes when I am at the machine and my accuracy suffers . Sometimes, it is not so much that I am careless, it’s more that I am easily distracted , lost in thought , or pulled into a conversation or a drama on the TV. No matter the reason, I always check along the way for accuracy. Either that or I have the seam ripper ready to go ☺
Free patterns are courtesy of the kind folks at Moda Fabrics. Bock 11 will be posted Sunday October 11, 2020. Maybe the weekend hours will get you caught up if you didn’t have time during this past week to get all the blocks done? I like to watch football on Sunday afternoons while I am quilting. It makes for a very relaxing weekend break
